Whew!

Well, it's been pretty hectic lately! Work has been busy and I haven't had too much time for extracurricular activities. However, have been busy stamping for various events and swap obligations. Here are two cards I designed for a co-worker who was married this month:

She asked me if I would make her some cards for her bridesmaids and sponsors for her wedding because she wanted them to have "something special." I was very touched that she would even consider asking me, since not everyone sees handmade cards in the same light. I agreed, but refused to let her pay, saying that it was just a little extra wedding gift. She was thrilled when I brought them to her, so I was thrilled too!
Both cards are made using Almost Amethyst for the card base, with combinations of white and silver. For the card on the left, I watercolored directly onto white mulberry paper using my aquapainter, and the ovals were created using my Coluzzle. The card on the right has a more diffused look to it, since I layered vellum paper over the stamped images.
I'll have more pics tomorrow of my other recent projects. Have a great Saturday night!

Looking forward

to this weekend with my Stamp Club. Our newest member--Teresa--answered the quiz questions the most accurately (and the most quickly), so she is the first hostess for this round of Stamp Club! Since I'm not fond of posting projects before a meeting, I'll put up a few pics of our projects from last month:

The technique page explanations are CASEd from both Splitcoast and my upline, and thanks to my upline for giving me the template for these cute calendars! Happy Monday everyone!

Sunday Afternoon

Hello again! I'm posting this card just for my stamp club, but I hope everyone else likes it too! They have to take a quiz about it, so here goes:

Have a great day everyone!
