For three reasons I am bummed out to today. The first, and least serious, is that the Spurs lost to the Rockets (yea for you Houstonians, bad for us San Antonians). The second is that I started a knitting pattern only to discover (after close scrutiny) that it was written incorrectly. I wouldn't mind so much if I didn't have to cut the yarn periodically throughout the pattern. Now I have to work with "broken" yarn after I frog it all!
The third, and definitely most important, is that someone who was very dear professionally and personally to the company I work for has passed away. I did not know him as well as others, but he was always very nice to me and I feel just awful for his loved ones. Rest in peace RDB.

Oh, I'm so sad for the loss of your friend.
If your yarn is wool you can piece it back together fairly easily so you will have one log piece again. I hate it when patterns haven't been checked for big errors. Such a pain.
I vote for Liz' card. They all are lovely but hers stands out to me.
Huzzah for two days of sunshine!!

Thanks for the kind words.
My yarn is cotton, so no go on piecing it back together. Tape isn't exactly attractive, lol.
Thanks for voting too. I just wanted to do something nice for my clubbers.
It is so beautiful today! I think I might head out to Yarnivore and see what's what over there. Thinking about signing up the spindling class and just for the fun of it, showing up on the 10th for the "thong" event! I might be too busy laughing to knit though!
