I made it into the stamp room!

Okay, so when I wasn't out taking pics of the iced over garden decorations I made a big decision. Not a Chips Ahoy-versus-Oreo-after-dessert kind of big decision, but a decision that would ultimately cause me great suffering. I decided to clean my stamp room. Now this may seem like a bunch of blibber-blabber, but if you've ever seen my stamp room then you would know just how big of an undertaking this is. Let's just say that I normally tiptoe into the room like I'm trying to avoid landmines--if I can open the door all the way! Now a normal person might ask why cleaning this room would cause pain. The short answer is that I like clutter.

Usually it's a small pile of mail here, a chair full of towels there. When it comes to that room though, it's like Stampin' Up! and Michael's have exploded in there and the survivors are all in critical condition. Ribbon spills from the embossing box, adhesive peeks out from under the stamp bookcase, and paper covers everything--including the floor! In order to put it all away where it belongs would take hours upon hours. So I decided to bite the bullet and get to work, because I could only find one of my three (maybe four) pairs of cutterbees, and I know I have unmounted sets that need to see some action. I'm almost done organizing, but still have more time to put in before it's where I want it to be. However, I can make it from the door to the back wall without having to step over anything, so hooray for me!!

So that brings us to the good stuff. While I was stuck indoors I made the following items for a fellow stamper who did me a big favor:

The front, inside, and the paper clips up close.

By the by, I used my new Cuttlebug for the paper clips, which are totally CASE-d from Val at SCS. This is the only die-cut set I have so far, so this is what I used. However, I definitely have been bitten by the 'bug and can't wait to get more dies!

Well, better get to bed since I'll have to get up at the crack to de-ice my car and try to get to work. I'm supposed to give blood at our drive in the morning too, so my iron better be up or else...like I can really beat myself up anyway, lol.

LOVE your new knitting bag! I am so jealous. :-) I will definitely check those out next time I am at Yarnivore. Your paper clips are great. My mom is way into the cut out things and I think has all the sizzix stuff ever made. and the other system which I can't remember at the moment. Hasn't the ice storm been crazy? I suppose today I should actually leave the house. ha! Keep making the pretty stuff!

She had them in all the colors, so definitely go check them out. The paper clips were pretty easy to make, so I see more of them in my future. Hope you made it out into the world today!
